The Gift of Love is a dramatization of a real life event that happened in North Hwanghae Province in North Korea. Lee Sojung has done her best to deal with her husband’s illness and feed her family but has run out of options. As reality closes in, she resorts to telling a big lie.

2019.4.15一个人@Kendall。Boston国际电影节，根据真实事件改编。难得看到反映朝鲜的片子，悲哀压抑，人间地狱，不知多大程度上反映现实。作为中国观众，那些场景不会觉得陌生。。。。
