Now Was When tells the story of Martha, a 60 year old doctor who is having a hard time dealing with growing old and wants to start her life by finally becoming pregnant. Having invested her life to science and her patients, she seeks treatment from fertility doctor to undergo In-Vitro fertilization. Everyone around her has children and her only regret in life is to have put off having a family, decision that has left her all alone with the exception of her close friends Edith, an exhausted stay home mother of four and Viola, a free spirit grandmother that doesn't believe in breast feeding .
