剧情介绍
Visra Vichit-Vadakan: Visra is part of a new wave of Thai artists, passionate about their individual art, but also dedicated to shaping a community of young people who teach compassion and encourage social action and social responsibility through their work. Visra has moved back and forth between Thailand and US throughout her entire life. After graduating from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology, Visra decided to become a filmmaker. She made her first short film, "rise", while producing video games for the Royal Government of Thailand under the Office of Knowledge Management and Development. After the coup d'etat in 2007, Visra decided to attend NYU Tisch School of the Arts graduate film program. At NYU, Visra has completed four short films: "fall" ? a film which explores dreams and reality through a woman's sensual fantasy, "The Stage" ? an adaptation of a short story by Anton Chekhov, "Anatomy" ? a documentary on young Thai medical students operating on cadavers, and "In Space"- her latest short which follows a young monk into an alternate reality created through meditation. Her shorts have been screened at various international film festivals including International Film Festival Rotterdam, Bangkok Film and Video Festival, Whistler Film Festival, and Sonoma International Film Festival.
