Corse a perdicuore

Lessons for the lovelorn is about a nerdy, intellectual guy who unwittingly falls in love with the woman of his dreams. The course of this film is about his inane existence, his insecurities and his inability to fit in to the hip crowd. The setting is in charming Southern Italy of a run down town near a harbor. Although it can be painful to watch this drip of a man, being rejected and snubbed repeatedly, the narration is really clever and quite amusing. There are lots of pretty girls and chauvinistic men to fill the stew. It's a bit of a romantic comedy and also has a nice twist to the ending.
