剧情介绍
The DVD cover shows the title Petrolineide, but the film is called Petrolini, and is a work of montage created by O. G. Caramazza in 1949.
This DVD finally saw the light thanks to RHV.
Unfortunately, instead of finally collating the original films (among the first Italian talkies!), RHV preferred to remaster (optimally) the assembled film of 1949, which contained only the extracts, although the most significant, of the following films:
"Nerone" by Alessandro Blasetti, 1930 (78 min. Source imdb)
"Il medico per forza" (The physician in spite of himself) by Carlo Campogalliani, 1931 (93 min.)
besides several stage skits that made Petrolini famous.
In total, nearly three hours of footage on stage and in studio, reduced to little more than one hour in the film assembly.
