A young boy is dropped off at an elderly woman’s home for the day. Her house sits amongst fields of weeds and rotting pears, and a lone tenant adds to the unsettling atmosphere. The savage slaughter of a chicken makes this daycare a harsh and confusing world for the boy, who learns caring can be shown in unexpected ways. 看见杀鸡心里很不好受，每次离开家，都会像影片里一样，回头看家慢慢变小，直至消失掉，尽管看的是路，还是会一直看下去。没有和老人一起生活的经历，但是影片里夏天的午后，咯咯叫的小鸡，空旷的的麦地，都是我的童年
